Insurance Employment Services
As a member of IIAD you have access to an employment service that specializes in the placement of qualified candidates in the insurance field. The fee structure, offered to members, is substantially less than other commercial employment services. IES offers commercial and/or personal lines testing which allows you more time to run your business.

Education Classes & Ethics Classes as required by the Texas Dept. of Insurance
The IIAD has a complete schedule of classes ranging from the basics of insurance, the basics of property and casualty, workers compensation, and so much more. These courses are taught year round at the IIAD offices, or with advanced notice, they can be taught in your firm as an in-house classes. All classes have been approved by the Texas Department of Insurance for continuing education credit and are up-dated as changes occur.
Membership Luncheons
The easiest way to keep up with the ever changing insurance industry is networking with your peers. Membership Luncheons are held several times a year and feature an exciting and entertaining speaker. Also be sure to come early for a FREE 2 hour CE Course prior to the luncheon!
Special Events
- All Industry Day- Held annually the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. All Industry Day is a joint venture between the Independent Insurance Agents of Dallas, the Dallas Chapter of CPCU and the University of North Texas. All Industry Day has become the largest one day trade show in the Southwest. Over 1,200 insurance professionals (including property and casualty, risk management, adjusters, and life & health) come together to see company representatives, industry leaders, interesting and informative seminars combined with an exhibit hall of 80 booths full of industry related services. It's a day of networking with peers and making new contacts in the industry.
- Big “I” Day Tournament-Limited to members only, this annual event hosts over 200 golfers on 2 courses at Brookhaven Country Club in Dallas, TX. In the evening sponsors, golfers, and their peers come together for a exciting awards banquet honoring the winners and giving out hundreds of door prizes. One lucky attendee will walk away with the Grand Prize money tree complete with $500 CASH!
- North Texas Insurance Convention - IIAD's spring trade show in Collin County featuring a 40 booth exhibit hall, luncheon keynote speaker, and a day full of informative courses.
Dallas Insurance Insider
The official magazine of the IIAD published quarterly and sent to all members. Full of photos from events, industry articles, and letters from our officers and chairpersons about upcoming events.
